It's the first Sunday of a new year! A clean slate. The dry eraseboard has been wiped free of markers. Life can be like that. We turn to a loving God. We say "You know God, I've messed up badly. Please forgive me. I'll not do this again." We give it to the Lord, and in His mercy he takes a huge eraser full of Christ's cleansing blood and wipes off the board. Are there still consequences from sin? You bet there are. But now Jesus is walking beside you to help you sort through problems and worries. "God will make a way where there seems to be no way." The song. Sing it in your heart. He WILL finish what HE began.
